Our take
The Monoprice MP-T65RT (not the most graceful name 🤦♂) is undoubtedly the most affordable tower home theater speakers with ribbon tweeter on the market today. These floor-standing speakers cost much less than many bookshelf speakers in Malaysia. To us, these sound good, much better than any speaker of this pricing has any right to sound, yet they may be even better than we are giving them credit for.
Who knew tower speakers could sound pretty darn good for less than RM1000 a pair?

The MP-T65RT offers fantastic audio performance at a reasonable price! These diminutive tower speakers feature a ribbon tweeter that offers an extended, airy, and fast high frequency response, along with two 6.5" woofers in a ported cabinet for enhanced bass response. The compact, aesthetically pleasing cabinet will complement most rooms, without being an imposing presence.
Ribbon Tweeter - added detail. Enhanced clarity.
In Ribbon tweeters are able to produce an extended frequency response, with much lower distortion than traditional designs. With this tweeter design, you get exceptional high frequency response, lower distortion and greater clarity.
Dual 6.5" Woofers - extended bass. More output.
One woofer just isn't enough! Dual woofers extend the bass response and bring some added punch to the bottom end. The ported enclosure helps deliver the bass response down to 45Hz, deep enough for most living spaces.
Compact Design - Won't dominate the room.
The Monoprice MP-T65RT tower speakers are slim, compact that won't dominate your space. Satnding only 30" tall, these speakers have been engineered to sound great, despite their compact size. The design features a ported enclosure, spring loaded speaker terminals and a remove-able grill.
